"I know that you're here for some formal styles, but there's a bit of a situation if you can call it that. I need to prepare for a competition and my model for that has called in sick. Sooooo..." she continued slowly "..I was wondering if you would step in for her."
"For formal styles?" I asked, taking a sip of my coffee.
"That's just it, she was in for a cut."
"And what about the formal styles?"
"I'll just have to wing it on those. It's the cut that's the killer. You'd be doing me a tremendous favour. Obviously your fee will be for the cut rather than the updos."
