I nodded. The clippers started to hum and I felt them caress the back of my neck again. There was no shock, no surprise, just the welcome return of the slightest vibration against my skin. In moments the line of my bob was slightly more angled than it had been. My hand crept out from under the cape and touched the back of my head. I was now starting to feel sensations that should not be felt in public. This was for me now, nobody else mattered. It really didn't matter to me at that moment what Rob would think.
"I think you're well and truly acclimatised to the water now aren't you?" Paula asked.
"Mmm" I acknowledged, the warm glow still coursing through me.
"Decision time again, my dear" she said.
My hand went to the back of my head and stroked the bald expanse.
"More?" I asked.
"I think it would be less rather than more if you want to be exact" she smiled.
I returned her smile.
